Shree Yantra

The Shree Yantra is made of nine interlocking triangles around a central point (bindu), forming 43 smaller triangles. It represents goddess Tripura Sundari and is considered the "king of yantras". We have several versions:

How to energise (pran pratishtha) a Lakshmi yantra

Choose a Friday, Diwali, Dhanteras, Akshaya Tritiya or a Purnima.
Bathe and wear clean clothes. Clean the yantra with Gangajal or raw milk mixed with water, then wipe it dry.
Place it on a red or yellow cloth on a clean plate or chowki.
Offer kumkum, rice (akshat), a red flower and a ghee diya.
Chant "Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamale Kamalalaye Praseed Praseed Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah" 108 times, or recite the Shree Suktam.
Install it facing east or west in the north or north-east of the room.
